Are you putting forward enough effort into your tooth brushing routine? As an oral health routine that is done daily, it is important to try to continue your quest to brushing excellence. The better your brushing skills, the less risk there is of tooth decay and gum disease taking place in your mouth.

Always be mindful of how and where you store your brush. Never share your brush with anyone or next to any other brush, as this can lead to uncleanness and infect your brush with bacteria.

Try to store it upright in a sturdy position, and ensure that it is in a well-ventilated area.

Make an effort to ensure that you are using a toothbrush that is fully functional and serves its purpose. Seek out toothbrushes that have soft bristles and full-size brush heads so you can accomplish the task of a full cleaning for your mouth. Ideally, look for brushes and toothpaste that feature the ADA Seal of Acceptance. Even if your brush looks good, replace your brush every 3-4 months. If issues arise from standard brushes, try switching to electric toothbrushes.
